My brother Zach and I grew up watching Pete and his dad and the whole Flier team. Pete was such a great player and we idolized him. His confidence on the ball and hard work always made him stand out on the field. Later, I got to know Pete as an adult when he moved to Austin and we both worked at Dell. He was always complimentary and full of spirit and loved a good joke. My only thought is that its way too soon for him to pass. I'm a father of two, and seeing his two daughters just breaks my heart.
