This site is dedicated to the memory of Pete Sluyter.
Pete was born on June 08, 1968 and left us far too soon on January 22, 2013. He is much loved and will always be remembered by friends and family. He is survived by two beautiful daughters, a doting and loving mother and me, his ever adoring little sister. Terribly sorry for your loss, I played soccer with Pete "Slice" for several years and remember your dad coaching as well. He will be sorely missed.

I met Pete at Charlotte Motor Speedway when he came to the Race to stay with his Friend Clay and when he came to Bristol for the race and stayed with us in our Camper. He some great times getting to know Pete and staying in touch with him on line and phone. Lost touch with Pete and could never figure out what happen. Now we know and with a Sad heart and shock. Our Circle without Pete is not going to be the same. He will be missed but will always be in our Hearts here in North Carolina. Rest in Peace Brother.

One of the great ones in this world. Will always remember my time coaching soccer camps with him and Jen Potok and how all the moms would be looking there best on the second day of camp to talk with Coach Pete. He touched so many with his positive attitude an great smile. Miss you man.
